Renpek Pet Services

Losing a pet hurts. The years of unconditional love and companionship a pet brings make them a special part of the family. When your pet passes away, you need someone who understands the pain of your loss, someone who can help you say goodbye to your companion in a dignified and loving way. That's why we established Renpek Pet Memorials exclusively for personalized pet cremations and burial services. We provide our finest services to you and your cherished pet through excellent care and compassion during this difficult time.

When your animal companion passes away, bring your pet directly to our center, or, upon request, we will provide transportation service from the veterinary office or from your residence for a nominal fee. Your pet will be returned to your choice of any of the five Kepner Funeral Homes. We can also refer you to local pet cemeteries for proper burial.

To honor the memory of your beloved companion, we can assist you in choosing a pet casket, urn, monument, or engraved brass plate. With our Memories of a Lifetime service, we can also help you preserve photos of your pet in a customized DVD, VHS, or hardcover book.

For support and information on bereavement services, support groups, or grief literature, contact a Renpek Pet Memorials service counselor. Advanced planning services are also available. • Recognize that intense grief over the loss of a pet is normal. Regardless of the number of years spent with your pet, you developed a bond with a companion who gives unconditional love and accepts you as you are. That loss can be devastating.
  • Everyone experiences grief in their own way. You experience denial, anger, regret and depression. Again, all these emotions are a natural part of the grieving process.
  • Don't deny your feelings. Examine them honestly, allowing yourself to grieve and come to terms with the loss of your pet. In time, you will eventually accept the passing of your pet and come to a place of healing.
  • Talk with friends and family, reach out to other pet owners who have suffered a similar loss, or visit any of thousands of websites that deal specifically with pet loss.
  • This will likely be a first experience of death for many children. Validate their grief with love and support, and be honest about the death of the pet. Never tell them the pet "went away."
  • If you own other pets, expect them to grieve also. They will require a little extra love and attention to help them through this period.
