James B. Kepner (Jim) was born in Wheeling, WV on September 19, 1957, the son of John W. and Joan Brown Kepner of Wheeling, WV. He is a 1975 graduate from Linsly Military Institute, Wheeling, WV, a 1979 graduate with a BS degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Buckhannon, WV, a 1980 graduate from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Pittsburgh, PA and received his WV Funeral Directors and Embalmers license in 1980. He married his wife, Lisa in 1984 and has three children, Ashley, Alexander and Alicia.
