BRUHN, Robert T., 86, of Wheeling, died Tuesday, 
January 18, 2010, at his home.

He was born December 24, 1923 in Wheeling, WV, 
son of the late Harrison Bruhn and Phyllis 
Strobel Bruhn Schafer.

Mr. Bruhn was a member of St. Mark Evangelical 
Lutheran Church, Elm Grove, and was a U.S. Navy 
WWII Veteran.  He was retired from the U.S. 
Department of Navy, Newark, OH.

He was a graduate of the former Triadelphia High 
School and Bethany College.  He was an avid 
golfer having been a member of the Belmont Hills 
Country Club, the Oglebay Park Golf Club, and 
the Polar Bears at Wheeling Park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in 
death by an infant sister, Jane Cecilie Bruhn; a 
brother, Philip Bruhn; his step-father, Henry F. 
Schafer; a step-brother, John Schafer; and two 
step-sisters, Helen Blum and Sue Lyons.

Surviving are his step-brother, Robert H. 
Schafer of Wheeling; his faithful friend, 
Raymond Pinto of Wheeling; and several cousins.

There will be no visitation.  Friends are 
invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, 
January 21, 2010, at 1 p.m., at Greenwood 
Cemetery Chapel, with the Reverend R. Paul 
Schafer officiating.  Interment will follow 
immediately in Greenwood Cemetery.

Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling.
