HEHR, Betty Jane Behrens, 87, died Sunday, 
February 14, 2010, in the Good Shepherd Nursing 
Home, Wheeling.

She was born December 31, 1922, daughter of the 
late Ellsworth and Rhea Eigenbrod Behrens.

Mrs. Hehr was a member of the Christ Evangelical 
Lutheran Church in Mozart, where she was in 
charge of the Cradle Roll, Bulletin Board, and 
was the Sunday School Treasurer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in 
death by a sister, Flo Littlehales, and an 
infant brother.

Surviving are her husband, Louis “Lou” B. Hehr; 
two daughters, Sally Lemons and her husband, Bob 
of South Park, PA, and Connie Murray and her 
husband, Jim of Wheeling; a son, Fred Hehr and 
his wife, Eva of Wheeling; a brother, Bill 
Behrens and his wife, Phyllis of Washington, PA; 
four grandsons, Bob and Scott Lemons, and John 
and Kyle Vickers; and four great-grandchildren, 
Christopher and Rachel Lemons, and Jackson and 
Reed Vickers.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. 
on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at the Kepner 
Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, 
Wheeling, where services will be held at 1 p.m. 
on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, with the 
Reverend Gail C. Bauzenberger officiating.   
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ 
Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 Richmond Avenue, 
Wheeling, WV 26003.
