Lenz, Anna Louise Busbey, 83, of Tridelphia, WV., the died Friday, March 5, 2010 in the Wheeling Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1927 in Wheeling, WV., the daughter, of the late Paul W. and Irene O. Bartlebaugh Busbey. Mrs. Lenz retired from the Chesapeake Potomac Telephone Company ad a long distance operator after working from 1945-1976; supervisor also with 25 years in Management. She was a group sales leader in Avon for 15 years; most recently employment from 1998 to date has been with The Greater Wheeling Council of Churches as their hospital notification secretary to all Ohio Valley Pastors. A Christian and a life time member of St. James Evangelic Lutheran Church Wheeling, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School Classes; Chorus. She recently served on St. James Congregation Church Council as Chairperson of Lay Ministry. Mrs. Lenz was very active in St. James Food Pantry; and she also a member of Gideon Bibles International. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip George Lenz, Sr in 1992; a sons, Phillip George Lenz, Jr., in 1983; and Paul Busbey Lenz; a great- grandson, Phillip Lewis Wyer in 1998; two sisters, Paula Lee Busbey Woodring in 1985; and a Fae Daughtery Busbey Sanders in 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Jelinda Ann Lenz Brinkmeier of Saxonburg, PA; and her husband, Lou; granddaughters, Krisann Brinkmeier Wyer, Christa Lyn Brinkmeier and Virginia Ann Lenz; several nieces and nephews in Calif, Nevada, Oregan and Washington State; two great- grandsons, and two great-granddaughters. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Deborah Gable officiating. Arrangements by the Kepner Funeral Home, National Road at Bethany Pike, Wheeling. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to St. James Evangelic Lutheran Church (designated) Food Pantry, 1409 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV 26003, or to any orphanage of your choice. |
