WILSON, Jean Lavon Donaldson, 84, of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the home. She was born February 22, 1926, in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Lumelia Boyd Donaldson. Mrs. Wilson was retired from the Dixie Manor Shelter Care Home, Harvey, Illinois, as Activity and Social Rehabilitation Director. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Triadelphia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Wilson in 1995; a sister, Geraldine Richards; and a brother, John Donaldson. Surviving are her son, James Donaldson and his wife, Letitia of Wheeling; a brother, Charles Donaldson of College Park, GA; six sisters, Anna Lewis of Columbus, OH, Edna Simms and Margaret Rieves of Wheeling, Minnie Price of St. Clairsville, OH, Glenda Donaldson of New Jersey, and Ina Brown of Triadelphia; two grandsons, Shawn Donaldson and his wife, Elaine, and Keith Donaldson all of Wheeling; two great- grandaughters, Alexa and Sierra Donaldson of Wheeling, and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Triadelphia, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 Noon, with the Reverend William Allen, Jr. officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, RR 1 Box 423, Church Street, Triadelphia, WV 26059.
