Henry, William “Bill” Joseph, 77, of Wheeling, WV., died Thursday, May 6, 2010 in the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling. He was born September 22, 1932 in Wheeling, WV., the son of the late William A. Jr.and Anna Cecelia Stock Henry. Mr. Henry was a retried crane operator with Savage Construction Company, Wheeling; he was a member of Operating Engineers Local 132 and a Protestant by faith. Bill was a member of the Cave Club and the Ranch Hunting Club. He loved gun bashes, hunting and collecting mushrooms; he enjoyed nature, socializing with his friends, working in his yard and on his home. Bill loved his wife, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Gene “Scoop” Henry. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Ruth Ann Burch Henry; a daughter, Kimberly Jo Doll and her husband, Randall of Wellsburg, WV; two step-sons, Randy Klages and his wife, Renee of West Alexander, PA and Jeff Klages of Washington, PA, a brother, Donald L Henry and his wife, Jo Anne of Valley Grove, WV; two grandsons, Randall Ryan Doll and his wife, Paula of Wellsburg, WV and Shawn P. Doll of Crownsville,MD; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 12-3 and 6- 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, where services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Margie Carr-Nickell officiating.
