McANINCH, Dolores Louise Barte, 71, of 
Bethlehem, went to be with our Saviour on 
Friday, May 14, 2010.

She was born May 25, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, 
daughter of the late James and Eleanor Straub 
Barte.

Dolores was a retired bookkeeper  for several 
local businesses, and a caregiver, and was an 
avid seamstress.  She was a  Roman Catholic by 
faith.

Grandma Dee had a heart of gold and always had a 
smile and a kind word to give anyone.  We miss 
her very deeply , but know she is resting 
peacefully.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in 
death by her husbnd, Robert E. McAninch, Sr. in 
1972; her sister, Janet Cavicchia and brother-in-
law Kenneth.

Surviving are her step-mother, Shirley Barte of 
Wheeling; a son, Bob McAninch and his wife, 
Sheri of Bellaire, OH; two daughters, Susan May 
Schmidt and her husband, Joseph, and Jamie Lynn 
McAninch and her partner, Bud all of Wheeling; 
five grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Lizzie, and 
Rachel McAninch, and Jessamine Schmidt; a niece, 
Christine Herink of Bridgeport, OH; and a 
nephew, Tony Cavicchia of St. Clairsville, OH.

Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on 
Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Kepner Funeral 
Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling.  
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 
p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at Our Lady of Peace 
Catholic Church in Mt. Olivet, with Fr. Dennis 
Schuelkens as celebrant.  Interment in Greenwood 
cemetery, Wheeling.   Rosary Devotions will be 
at 5 p.m. Sunday.
