Simons, William “Bill”, J., 66, of St. 
Clairsville, OH died  Friday, June 25, 2010 in 
Norwalk, OH.
Formerly of Boggs Run, Wheeling, he was born 
November 10, 1943 in Wheeling, the son of the 
late William F. And Edna Sargent Simons.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired coal miner 
for Consol Energy where he was a heavy equipment 
operator, and a member of the Boggs Run Lutheran 
Church.  He enjoyed camping and being retired.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in 
death by his sister Barbara VanSickle.
Surviving are his wife, Myra L. Fish Simons; 3 
sons, Michael Simons and his wife, Janet of 
Triadelphia, WV, Brian Simons and William Scott 
Simons and his Fiancé Tony Obright, all of 
Wheeling; one brother, Robert Simons of Glen 
Dale; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; 
and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and 
great nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, June 28, 
2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral 
Home, 36th and Jacob streets, Wheeling where 
services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 
at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Mark Zelewicz 
officiating.  Interment in  Riverview Cemetery, 
Martins Ferry, Oh.

Disabled Veterans of America of the donor’s 
choice.
