BAIRD, M. Darlene Stout Taylor, 58, of Elm 
Grove, WV, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Ohio 
Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

She was born June 26, 1952, in Clarksburg, WV, 
daughter of the late Donnie and Lucy Ayers Stout.

Mrs. Baird was a medical secretary for Ohio 
Valley Medical Center, and she was a member of 
the Dallas United Methodist Church, Dallas, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in 
death by a brother-in-law, Bruce C. Pyles.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald M. Baird; a 
son, Matthew Taylor and his wife, Ashlie of 
Valley Grove, WV; two step-sons, Geoffrey G. 
Baird and his wife, Maggie of Elm Grove, WV, and 
Tracy Espy and his wife, Katherine of 
Summerville, GA; two step-daughters, Karen 
Shepherd and Amie Espy both of Summerville, GA; 
four grandchildren, Doniven, Haiden and Falicity 
Taylor, and Faith Dianna Baird; seven other step-
grandchildren in Georgia; her mother-in-law, 
Betty Baird; two sisters, Christina Helms and 
her husband, William, and Phyllis Pyles all of 
Moundsville, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. 
on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Kepner Funeral 
Home, (304-242-2311), 166 Kruger Street, Elm 
Grove, Wheeling.  Funeral services will be held 
at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at the 
Dallas United Methodist Church, Dallas, WV, with 
the Reverend Cindy Murphy officiating.   
Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dallas 
United Methodist Church.
