WARDLE, CLARA JOANNE WHIPKEY, 67, of St. 
Clairsville, Ohio died Friday, July 23, 2010 in 
Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.
She was born January, 5, 1943 in Wheeling, WV., 
the daughter of the late Albert and Cora Burris 
Whipkey.
Clara was a Case Worker and a Protestant by 
faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also 
preceded in death by a brother, RaymondWhipkey.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond Basluke, four 
children, Denise Wardle of Scottsdale, AZ., 
Dennis Wardle of Wheeling, Lance Wardle of Las 
Vegas,and Laurie Wardle of Moundsville, three 
grandchildren, Terri Persinger, Kyle Wardle,and 
Kaylea Wren, two great grandchildren, Andrew and 
Jacob Persinger a brother, Jim Whipkey, three 
grand dogs, Penne, Rusty and Issy.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. 
Private services will be held for family only at 
a later date.
