Crockard, Sr., Edward L., 77, resident of Wheeling, WV died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.

 

He was born in Wheeling, WV on September 4, 1935.

 

He was a cash attendant at the former Waterford Park.

 

He was preceded in death by his mom, dad, and brother.

 

Surviving are his sons, Edward L. Crockard, Jr. (Kathleen), and Tommy Crockard (Lori); stepson, Joey Cross; sister, Carrie Lou Holiday; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

 

There will be no visitation or service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Greenwood Cemetery.

Dear Ones --
I will always remember the 2 little visits I had with Mr. Crockard, at Liza's Place; he is indeed a kind and gracious gentleman.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT ED, HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. HE LIVED IN THE BUILDING WHERE MY MOM LIVED , WE HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR AWHILE. HE WAS VERY SWEET,KIND,LOVING,CARING. WE WOULD STAND IN THE HALL AND TALK TO HIM ALL THE TIME. HE ALWAYS WAS SO NICE AND HE WOULD WORRY IF MY MOM WAS SICK AND IF E DIDNT SEE HER HE WOULD ALWAYS ASK ABOUT HER.HE WILL BE MISSED. HE IS IN MY HEART AND RAYERS. REST IN PEACE ED. I WILL MISS YOU.
