Dearest Liz,

How do you say good-bye to a dear friend...? You've been a part of our lives for so long & we really didn't think that we'd actually lose you!! You looked so great & had such a positive attitude,"as always" that we really believed that you were going to beat that horrible cancer again, but, no such luck!! :( You were so much more than a friend, you were family! You were there for almost every McNickle family function we had!! You were there for all of the good times & the bad times, the happy & the sad times, and they just won't be the same without you! :( At least your in a better place & you're not suffering anymore, & that's a blessing, & hopefully, when it's our time, you will be there to great us with your beautiful smile & instead of saying good-bye, we'll be able to give you a big hug & say "Hello, again, dear friend"!! 'Til then, tho, please know that you are in our hearts, & we will ALWAYS love & miss you very much!!!

Just us,
Stu & Connie (McNickle) Rosenberg
xoxo

I have just heard of our beautiful Liz's passing. My heart breaks with yours. Like marbles in a bag, most of the people we have contact with touch our lives in a miniscule way. But Liz's warmth, joy and kindness enveloped you like a favorite sweater and the impact on your life was on so many plains. Her zest for life, her passion, her enthusiasm were dazzling. Though I know she now stands with our Father in heaven, I know in my heart and soul that I and all that loved her have lost a great treasure and can only look forward to the time when we meet Liz again and she dazzles us once more.

Liz was a very special person who was loved and will be missed by so many for her wonderful and effervescent personality. I have always regarded her as a member of our family since her early days at Madison school; and will always cherish the many pleasant memories of our times together in Wheeling and D.C. I am grateful that despite her deteriorating health that she was able to attend her recent high school reunion; and also that week that we had a wonderful and funny evening together with Gus and Sue at the Alpha. May your pleasant memories and the shared love of your friends and family comfort you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Larry McNickle, Falls Church, VA

We were truly saddened to here of Liz's passing. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched, and was truly a Shining Star. I developed a deep respect for Liz when she took over as President of the Church Council when no one felt they could handle the challange, and handled the position with intelligence, dedication, firmness, and fairness. Above all, she was a great mediator during some difficult situations. There is a new Shining Star in Heaven today. We're sorry we can't be there, but you are all in our prayers, May here memory be eternal

Liz and I were friends ever since she returned from Greece in the 4th grade and joined our class. Your Dad used to call me the "baby" at your house. My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you. She will be missed by everyone's lives she has touched all these years. She is too young to be gone but know that God must have needed an angel because Liz was that in every fiber of her being. I will never forget her and will hope to meet with her again when God needs me. We have so many wonderful memories. Love, Joyce Belt Lenzo-Mt. Airy, MD
