Brost, James Richard, 74, of Wheeling, died Saturday November, 10, 2012 in the Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, Ohio.  He was born September 7, 1938 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Clarence and Hulda Lash Brost Sr.  He was a retired employee with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a U.S. Army veteran and a Christian by faith.  Surviving are a son, Richard Brost of Wheeling, two daughters, Kristy West of Wheeling, Lori George and her husband Michael of Perrysburg, Ohio, a brother, Clarence "Bud" Brost Jr of Wheeling, nine grandchildren, John Storm, Kayla Wood, Jennifer Wood, Amber Wood, McKenna McNickle, Alex West, Kimberly Gray, Alicia Gray and Charlie Brost, eight great-grandchildren.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
