Dupke, John Edward, 63, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the Wheeling Hospital.

He was born on August 20, 1949, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of the late John Lewis and Rosalee Elseser Dupke.

Mr. Dupke was a Christian by faith and a retired Truck Driver for Hone and Sons Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Dougherty Dupke, one son, John Sheridan (Danielle) Dupke of Dennision, Oh, a daughter, Candi L. (Dan) Millhouse of Wheeling, WV, two brothers, Raymond (Bud) (Suzie) Dupke of Moundsville, WV, Steve (Colleen) Dupke of Martins Ferry, OH, three sisters, Barbara Murray of Parkersburg, WV, Karen Miller of Wheeling, WV and Grace (Lynn) Moore of Florida. Also surviving are two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304.232.2732) where services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 12:30 p.m, with the Pastor Spencer Curry officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

you will be sadly missed. when our father died back in 1969 you stepped in and tried your best to keep the family together through that time and beyond. we did not always see eye to eye on a lot of subjects. but i always new you just wanted the best for everyone around you. Colleen and I will miss you greatly. I will always love you Brother.
