METZ, Leroy Garfield, 70, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at his home.

 

He was born September 1, 1941, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Ervin Leroy and Emily Elizabeth Harrison Metz.

He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation and was a Christian.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Metz.

Surviving are six daughters, Mary Lou Metz; Tammy R. Metz; Kimmy; Patty; Cindy; and Tammy; a sister, Melva Morris and her husband, Ronnie; an aunt, Hilda; numerous grandchildren; and many friends.

Leroy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311), where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012, with Mr. Dan Robertson officiating. Interment in Stone Church Cemetery, Elm Grove.

leroy metz was a great man loving husband an a great father an a best friend he always tried to make u laugh an normally always did. he will be sadley missed but never forgotten. ive know him an his wife joyce for the past 13 yrs. i had the pleasure to be apart of his dj service for several years an learned many things from him rest in peace leroy.
