Dear Sandy, Bud and Brian,

Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you all and remembering our times together when our families were young. Memories of the heart remain forever and help us to continue on in this life. May God's grace carry and support you all.

I shared talks and discussions with Scott as our boys both played on two different teams at the same time. Standing at the junction of the T-ball and coach pitch fields, we would watch our sons bat on the T-ball fields and turn to watch our other sons bat and play coach pitch. My impression of Scott was always a dedicated father and a good volunteer for the league. We will miss him immensly.

Melissa and Boys,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Scott was an incredible man and amazing father. We will always remember him for stepping up during baseball when anyone needed him at a task. Special memories of him and his clicker for all the balls and outs. Please know you are in our prayers and in our hearts. For it is now that you have your own Personal Angel. We love you all.

I am so sorry to learn of the death of one of my son's closest friends. He had so much life ahead of him, but obviously God had another plan for him and wanted him now. We don't understand why, but God does. I am keeping all of you in my prayers. No matter what people say, it really does not get easier with time as there are so many reminders and memories everywhere. Scott Hanlin was a good family man, husband, father, brother, and son. He will notsoon be forgotten. I just hope he did not suffer in his final hours. Love to all of you.

Dear Hanlin Family,
I only met Scott a handful of times as we were both on the same training schedule for work. Even though I only saw him three weeks out of the year, I knew he was a great husband, father, and friend. He always made me laugh at the stories he would tell, an affect I'm sure he had on every one he met. I will never forget the smile on that devoted WV fan!
Scott was a good person and he will be dearly missed.
Love,
The Pohlman Family
