Having known Al since we were of high school age, and Sherry even longer, it is with the greatest sadness that I have learned of his passing. He had a large affect on me over the years, and there is now a void in my life. Along with my wife, Eunice, we can only express the deepest thoughts;and, our prayers are with Sherry and her entire family. Love to you all.

Dear Sherry,
I have enjoyed talking to you and Al many times, usually at the Alpha, where I saw you many times and stopped by your table.
My sisters and I will be in Naples FL, leaving this Tuesday, so I will not be able to be at the funeral home to express my sympathy.
My thoughts are with you and your whole family.
Love,
Andrea

WE WERE SORRY TO HEAR OF AL"S PASSING. HERE IS A POEM THAT SAYS IT ALL. I’M FREE

DON’T GREIVE FOR ME, FOR NOW I’M FREE.
I’M FOLLOWING THE PATH GOD LAID FOR ME.
I TOOK GOD’S HAND WHEN I HEARD THE CALL;
I TURNED MY BACK AND LEFT IT ALL.

I COULD NOT STAY ANOTHER DAY
TO LAUGH, TO LOVE, TO WORK OR PLAY.
TASKS LEFT UNDONE MUST STAY THAT WAY,
I FOUND THAT PLACE AT THE CLOSE OF DAY.

IF MY PARTING HAS LEFT A VOID,
THEN FILL IT WITH REMEMBERED JOY.
A FRIENDSHIP SHARED, A LAUGH, A KISS.
AH YES, THESE THINGS, I TOO , WILL MISS.

BE NOT BURDENED WITH TIMES OF SORROW,
I WISH YOU SUNSHINE OF TOMARROW.
MY LIFE’S BEEN FULL, I SAVORED MUCH,
GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD TIMES, A LOVED ONE’S TOUCH

PERHAPS MY TIME SEEMED ALL TOO BRIEF;
DON’T LENGHTEN IT NOW WITH UNDUE GRIEF.
LIFT UP YOUR HEART AND SHARE WITH ME-
GOD WANTED ME NOW, GOD SET ME FREE.

Allan and Sherry have been a close part of my life for 65 years. It is unfathomable to think that the team of Sherrynal are no longer a team. Al will always be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and good sport kinda guy. Much love and warm thoughts to Sherry and family.
