She was born January 10, 1928 in Wheeling, WV., the daughter of the late Allen T. and Edith Blanche Spinx Davis.
Mrs. Clutter was a member of the Elm Grove United Methodist Church, Wheeling and a graduate of the former Triadelphia High School. She was a past member of The Kings Daughters of Wheeling and she volunteered at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
Mrs. Clutter loved playing bridge and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was everyone's special Mimi, and her family was always her top priority. She'll be sadly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale "Don" Clutter in May of 1996 and a sister, Mary Ella "Gerry" Ricker.
Surviving are two daughters, Darby A. Orum of Wheeling and Cindy A. Marvin and her husband, Michael of Canton, OH; a sister, Joan D. Van Kirk of Cambridge, OH; seven grandchildren, Heather Lane and her husband, Heath, Heath J. Hamilton, Chase D. Orum and his wife, Michelle, Ashley B. Orum, Christopher P. Muntean, Elizabeth D. Muntean, Stephanie A. Muntean; five great-grandchildren, Paytan and Parker Lane, Alex Hamilton, Kamryn Orum and Hunter Orum; a niece, Robin Luce and her husband, Jim and a nephew, Brian Van Kirk.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home 166 Kruger St, Wheeling (304-242-2311) where service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Bryan D. Carpenter officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Linsly School, 60 Knox Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003.
