She was born January 28, 1930 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Benjamin Dawson and Katherine Schemrich Dawson.

Betty worked at Wheeling Hospital in the Dietary Kitchen for 25 years. She was a loving mother and will be sadly missed.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Pultz, Sr.; a son, Terry Pultz; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving Betty are her two sons, Frank Pultz, Jr and his wife Dee Ann of Indianapolis, IN and Richard Pultz of Wheeling; grandchildren, Sarah and her husband Devon, Leah, and Abigale; a sister, Nancy Powell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday February 18, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. and on Sunday February 19, 2012 from 12-3 and 5-7 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road at Bethany Pike, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732), where services will be held on Monday February 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Bryan D. Carpenter officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
