Toland, Marie Alice Tustin, 70, of Wheeling, passed away Sunday July 15, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born December 1, 1941 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Ted and Elizabeth "Betty" Gantzer Tustin.

She was a catholic by faith.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, David "Ted" Toland, and a great-grandchild, Shelby Jo Miracle Osbourne.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Canann (Chuck Sheets) and Betty Toland (Duane Junkins); a son, David "Davy" Toland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Peggy; and three brothers, Teddy, Bill, and George.

Friends will be received Wednesday July 18, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Elm Grove, Wheeling (304-242-2311) from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sand Hill United Methodist.

Dear Peggy, George, Bill, Teddy and families.

I am sorry to hear of Marie,s passing. I just heard today and am sorry I was unable to attend her service. Whenever I think of Marie I think of her warm smile and soft voice. She was always quiet, soft and gentle in spirit. When we were children and got together she always made sure she acknowledged me and gave me her smile. My deepest sympathy to Marie's family and loved ones.

A Great Pie Cooking Aunt

I can remember the big smile you would carry on your face and cute little laugh. I remember the pies you would make for me when I would come down from Chicago to visit the family. I remember the time you came to Chicago and we had a great time at the zoo with Davy. We had a good laugh when Davy was afraid of the heater in the bathroom. I hope you are in a peaceful place. My mother and I will miss you very much and love you. God speed Aunt Marie! I hope your family can share wonderful memories as I have had with you.
