Dean, Marcella May, 104, of Edgington Lane, formerly of Warwood, Wheeling, WV., died Saturday, March 15, 2003, in Good Sherpherd Nursing Home, Wheeling. She was born daughter of the late Daniel Henry and Bertha Elizabeth Reel Dean. She was a former employee of the Bank of Warwood and former secretary for the City of Wheeling; a member of Warwood United Methodist Church, where she was a soloist in the church choir; a lifetime member of Miriam Chapter 1, Order of the Eastern Star; and a lifetime member of Isis Court 1, Ladies Oriental Shrine; past- president of Warwood United Methodist Women and a graduate of Wheeling High School. She was loved by everyone she met and her family wishes to offer special thanks to the 3- North nursing staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry John Dean; and a sister, Lela Perscilla Dean. Surviving are many friends including, Nellie and Sam Zoeckler, Art and Keith Zoeckler, all of Wheeling, Marcella McCauley and Jeanne Starkey, both of Marietta, OH. Friends received from 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2003 at Warwood United Methodist Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Robert K. Staub officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
