Darnley, Mildred Louisa Wiedman, 80, of National
Road, Wheeling, died Wednesday, February 26, 2003
in the Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital and
Geriatric Center, Wheeling.
She was born August 29, 1922 in Wheeling,
WV., daughter of the late George Sr. and Mildred
Dumas Wiedman.
She was a retired day worker, and a
member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by a brother, George Weidman Jr.
Surviving are a son, George M. Darnley
and his wife, Diane of Warwood; three daughters,
Barbara McKennen of Warwood; Karen MacNealy and
her husband, Jon of Columbus, OH. ; and Diane
Bruno and her husband, Dale of Wheeling; 16
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday and
Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm February 27 and 28,
2003 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St.,
Elm Grove, Wheeling, where services will be held
at 10:30 am Saturday , March 1, 2003 with the
Reverend R. Alvin Schafer officiating. Interment
will be held at the convenience of the family at
Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
