Griffith, William Joseph, Jr, 65 of Big Wheeling Creek, Wheeling died on Monday, June 30, 2008 in the Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 24, 1942 in Valley Grove, WV the son of the late William Joseph Griffith, Sr and Evelyn Sells Griffith. Bill was a former caretaker at the Schenk residence, attended the former Triadelphia High School in Wheeling and was a graduate of Sherrard High School in Sherrard, WV. He loved being outdoors where he was an avid hunter and was skilled in woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Tucker, Norma Griffith and Janet Estep. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Gladys Mae Kernoski Griffith; two brothers, Joseph Griffith and his wife, Myrtle and John Griffith all of Wheeling; five sisters, June Weisgerber, Eileen Cook and her husband, Albert, Jean Fisher, Barbara Griffith, Judy Pegg and her husband, Richard all of Wheeling; his very special friend and helper, Brian Bonacci of Wheeling and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great- great nieces and great- great nephews. Friends received on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p m at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling where services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 11 a m with the Reverend Jay A McMillen officiating. Interment in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery. Beech Bottom, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Roney

Bill was a very nice and funny man. We can
remember the times we had up on the Creek when
he would come to our house. He would do
anything for anyone when asked.
