Edge, Richard Lee "Dick", 73 of Wheeling died on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.

He was born February 6, 1938 in Wheeling the son of late Quincy E. Edge, Sr and Carrie Elizabeth Anderson Edge and was a Christian.

Dick was a retired laborer from Edge Excavating and Wrecking Service and was formerly employed by Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. He also was a US Air Force Veteran and a past member of the Bridgeport Eagles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

Surviving are a son, Brian Edge of Wheeling; a sister, Patricia Braun of Wheeling; two brothers, Earl F. Edge and his wife, Donna of Mozart, WV and Mont F. Edge and his wife, Ann of Wheeling; a granddaughter, Hope Edge of Wheeling and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend services on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10 a m at the Chapel in Holly Memorial Gardens, Route 250, Pleasant Grove, OH with the Reverend Mark A. Zelewicz, Sr officiating. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling (304 242-2311).
