Ingersoll, William James, of 28 Burkham Court, Wheeling, West Virginia died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Houston, TX.

 

He was born March 24, 1927 in McMechan, West Virginia.

He served in the United States Navy, both in WWII and the Korean War as a Fireman and as an electrician's apprentice. After leaving the service he served as an electrician and mechanic for the B&O Railroad until his retirement.

He was a 71-year member the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on National Road.

He was well known for the love and devotion he extolled on his wife of 50 years, Eva Louise Ingersoll.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 50 years, Eva Louise Ingersoll in 2009, his step-son Frank J. Emblen III in 1989.

Surviving is his two grandsons, Frank J. Emblen IV of Denville, New Jersey and Jefferson Y. Emblen of Houston, TX.

Service and interment at the convenience of the family.
