Traditional Services refer to earth burial or above-ground burial in a mausoleum. You may need to purchase space in a crypt or a cemetery lot for this style of interment.
Regardless of which burial style you select, all of our Traditional Services offer the following Standard options:
- All services of the funeral director and staff
- Transfer of remains to the funeral home (within a 25-mile radius)
- Embalming and other preparations of the body
- Committal or other disposition service
- Acknowledgment cards

Additional Selections
In addition to these Standard options, our Traditional Service packages offer the following selections.
This selection incorporates all of our Standard options along with one day of visitation, next day funeral services, and use of all vehicles (hearse, family sedan, clergy car, and flower car).
This selection incorporates all of our Standard options along with same-day visitation and funeral services and use of all vehicles (hearse, family sedan, clergy car, and flower car).
This selection incorporates all of our Standard options along with same-day visitation and funeral services and the use of a hearse and flower car.
This package is for a simple disposition without visitation at the funeral home. Only graveside services will be offered, along with Standard options and use of a hearse and clergy car.
This is a Community Service package used exclusively for someone in need, and includes Standard options plus same-day visitation and funeral services, use of a hearse and flower car, and a register book.
This package is used exclusively for a West Virginia Department of Welfare Recipient, and includes Standard options plus same-day visitation and funeral services, use of a hearse and flower car, a register book, and a softwood casket (gray cloth-covered full-view, white interior) or a concrete box.
Infant, Child, and Youth Services are all custom services that Kepner Funeral Homes will conduct on an individual basis. Services and prices will be found in the Consumer Price Book. A copy of each service selected will be given to each family along with a statement of funeral goods and services selected.
