Remembering Someone You Love

...that's always been our purpose at Kepner Funeral Homes. We have been serving the Wheeling area for over 175 years, making us the oldest funeral business in the region. Six generations, including five generations of Kepners, have provided dedicated service to our local community.

Today, the Kepner Funeral Homes continue to provide caring funeral services to the people of Wheeling under the direction of Co-Presidents John D. and James B. Kepner, sons of President Emeritus John W. Kepner.

  • My brother and I want to thank you for all you have done to lessen our sorrow during our brother's death. Mr Rose was very much in control and made the arrangements effortlessly, for which we are extremely grateful. Thank you for the remembrance candle and preparing our picture DVD We would also like to thank whomever applied Jack's make-up and combed his hair in the style he wore it----thank you. You treated Jack and our family with respect and we appreciated it. Thank all of you who worked so hard to get us through our hard times!!!

  • There was never a question with my mom as to who would preside over her arrangements. Her words of how "they will take care of you" couldn't have been more true. Even though your function is that of a business, your staff added other dimensions to that role. Your thoughtfulness , comfort and support were invaluable and for that, we are eternally grateful. Thank-You

  • Dear Bill, We greatly appreciate your caring and compassionate assistance following the death of Sandy' s father. Your father would be pleased that you carry on a long standing family tradition of service to others during their gravest time of need. When I saw you arrive at the house for the body Sunday, I knew that we would be in good hands throughout our ordeal. We were particularly pleased and honored that, despite having a full agenda, you made it a priority to handle our arrangements.
